Dress Code & Course Etiquette

ON THE GOLF COURSE AND PRACTICE AREAS:

We are happy with the kind of golf wear you'd see on a televised golf event. For example jeans, football shorts, tracksuit bottoms, cargo trousers / shorts should NOT be worn on the course or practice areas. Appropriate GOLF ATTIRE at all times on the course and practice areas please (no football shirts).

Only golf shoes should be worn on the course.

Sports socks should be worn with tailored shorts.

Golf caps should be worn in the appropriate manner and NOT back to front for example.

IN AND AROUND THE CLUBHOUSE AND PATIO AREA:

Our clubhouse is friendly, relaxed and sociable area.                

Smart casual dress is required at all times, with the exception of particular functions when a specified dress code for example jackets and ties may be required. Clean golf attire will generally be accepted in the lounge and bar areas.

Smart denim jeans are allowed in the clubhouse but no rips or tears please.

No golf shoes to be worn in the bar or lounge areas.

Shoes or sandals should be worn in the clubhouse even post golf when ordering drinks or using the touchscreen.

ETIQUETTE

We ask that all players

Respect the course
Rake bunkers, replace fairway divots, and repair pitch marks on the green
Avoid slow play and let others through if they are waiting behind you
Be courteous to other players at all times
Do not use your mobile phone
Comply with the etiquette and rules of golf
Enjoy yourself!

MOBILE PHONES:

We request mobile phones to be kept in silent mode on both the course and clubhouse premises.

Guests are welcome to browse their phones and send text messages in the clubhouse but we politely request that phone calls are taking outside for the comfort of our other guests.

Any calls received in the clubhouse should be answered in either the foyer area or on the patio area outside the club.

Didsbury Golf Club offers all Members, guests and all visitors a warm, relaxing and friendly atmosphere both on the course and in the clubhouse. To maintain our high quality golfing experience we request that all golfers and guests adhere to our basic defined dress code on and around the course and club house.
